Commoners is a bar and kitchen run by a local Brockenhurst family with a serious passion for quality food, great drinks & good company.
The name reflects the New Forest Commoners which dates back to the creation of the New Forest and their way of life still continues within the New Forest National Park. Commoners of the New Forest are those people who occupy land or property to which there is attached one or more rights over the Forest.
Commoners is a charming bar, nestled in the heart of Brockenhurst village highstreet, surrounded by the stunning New Forest. Our welcoming haven is the perfect spot for families, dog owners, and friends to gather and enjoy good food, drinks, and company. Open 7 days a week, we're serving up Lunch and Dinner from our diverse menu. Unwind in our terrace garden or relax on our comfy sofas. Throughout the year, we're also thrilled to host live music events, so be sure to check our socials! OUR CUSTOMERS
Our bar is both family and dog-friendly, and we love welcoming guests of all ages—two-legged and four. Children can enjoy favourites like fries, chicken dippers and other light bites from our menu, while dogs can relax in comfort with plenty of space and even underfloor heating. We also have a lovely garden out the back, perfect for relaxed days and evenings.
